Fees pay for weekly lessons, recitals, theory preparation and marking, professional development, association fees, studio and piano maintenance, and administration.

Method of Payment & Studio Policies

Payment may be made by post-dated cheques or e-tranfer. Post-dated cheques are to be dated for the first of each month from September to June. For e-transfer, payment is required one month in advance. Should you need to discontinue, one month’s notice is required (before the 1st of the month) and post-dated cheques will be returned.

Please see the schedule for a list of all studio holidays. There are always lessons on pro-D days.

To allow for student progress, we encourage regular attendance. As the teacher has reserved the weekly time and studio space for you, there can be no reimbursement for missed lessons. In the case of illness, lessons may be switched to online format or rescheduled at the teacher’s discretion and availability.

Our 24-hour cancellation policy requires students to provide at least 24 hours if they need to reschedule. If cancelled within 24 hours, the student forfeits the lesson fee as the teacher can no longer fill the lesson time. Missed lessons without notice will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Any lessons missed by the teacher will be made up or refunded, at the teacher’s discretion.
