Important Dates
The first lessons of the 2025-26 teaching year are on Tuesday September 2, 2025.
The last regular lessons of this school year will be on Friday June 26, 2026.
Summer Term. Flexible summer scheduling is available to accommodate vacations and changing routines. Students may book lessons individually or in short blocks throughout July – August. New students are warmly encouraged to begin lessons over the summer months. It’s a great time to focus on music in a relaxed setting!

October 13, Monday: No lessons (Thanksgiving Day)
November 11, Tuesday: No lessons (Remembrance Day)
December 4: Recital, Church of Truth, 111 Superior Street, 7pm
December 12 & 13: RCM Theory Examinations
December 22 to January 4, 2026: No scheduled lessons (Winter Holidays)
2026
January 5, Monday: Lessons begin
January 19 to 31: RCM Piano Exams
February 16, Monday: No lessons (Family Day)
March 16 to 27: Optional lessons for school-age students (Spring Vacation)
April 3, Friday: No lessons (Easter holiday)
April 6, Monday: No lessons (Easter holiday)
May 18, Monday: No lessons (Victoria Day)
June 26, Friday: Last day of regular lessons
June 28, Sunday: Recital, Church of Truth, 111 Superior Street, 7pm
Summer 2026
July – August: Flexible summer lessons (scheduled with teacher). Summer is a great time for new students to begin, and for advanced students to prepare for August piano/ theory exams.
